1.1 URLs You Submit

When you submit a URL for analysis, we send a fetch request to that URL from our server. We use the retrieved HTML solely to perform the AEO analysis and generate your report. We do not store the full HTML content of pages you analyze beyond the duration of a single request.

1.2 Analysis Reports

Generated reports (scores, checks, recommendations) are returned to your browser and stored locally in your browser's localStorage. We do not persist full reports on our servers unless you explicitly use a share/save feature (if available). Cached analysis results on our server, if any, are stored for a maximum of 1 hour for performance purposes and then deleted.

1.3 Contact Form Data

If you contact us via our contact form, we receive your name, email address, and message. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent.

1.4 Server Logs

Like all web servers, ours automatically records standard server log data, including your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. These logs are used for security monitoring and debugging. They are retained for a maximum of 30 days.

1.5 No Tracking Cookies

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics scripts. We may use a minimal first-party cookie or localStorage to remember your theme preference (dark/light mode).

  • To fetch and analyze the URL you submit and return an AEO report
  • To respond to support or contact requests
  • To monitor and improve system security and performance
  • To detect and prevent abuse (e.g., SSRF attempts, rate limit violations)

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. We do not share your submitted URLs or report data with advertisers or data brokers.

We may disclose information if required by law, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of AEO Optimizer, our users, or the public.

4. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, SSRF protection on our backend, and rate limiting. However, no method of internet transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted to or from our service.

5. Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
